An Experiment in Trust ~ Would You?

A student left a camera on a picturesque mountaintop in Snowdonia in an experiment into human trust.

Paul Bellis Jones, 24, left a note with the camera near the summit of Mount Tryfan, instructing walkers to take a picture then leave it for the next person.

He was keen to know if the camera would be returned to his home in Glan Conwy, near Llandudno, as per his instructions, of if it would be stolen instead.

  1. I LOVE stuff like this!! I would leave the camera. And take a ridiculous picture.

  2. I would leave the camera, but I don't know if I would assume those postures on a mountaintop!

  3. That is awesome. I do believe there are a lot of great people out there but the bad ones seem to get all the publicity.

A number of years ago while at Disney World I left my digital camera on the curb after watching the parade. I was sick because two days of vacation photos were on that camera. I knew it was a long shot but later that day I stopped by the lost and found and asked if they had my camera. They did. A nice man had found it and turned it in but he didn't leave a name for me to thank him. He will get his reward one day.

  4. Kat,

This is an awesome story! How do you find these things??? LOL oh ya, I forgot this was Gods idea so of course you will be finding these types of things :)

Wanted to share this story with you. Yesterday was a cold rainy day (yes I thought of you the whole day) but its the type of day that you just want to curl up in your jammies with a book right? So, when the kids came home we loaded up and drove to Tulsa and went to Barnes and Noble grabbed a book and settled in. I had to run to the restroom and went to the one where the baby changing station is. I noticed some money laying on there. I though OH this is my day :) and then IMMEDIATELY I thought of ARK and I thought NOPE I'm not going to take the money, I am going to leave the same amount on the other side of the changing bed :)

    Love you Kat! Happy Friday

  6. Another place to donate books/Christian books is to newly converted prisoners. They really don't have many to read, and unlike people like me, they do have time to read!
